Reliance Industries has declared a nationwide holiday for all its offices on January 22, aligning with the 'Pran Pratishtha' consecration ceremony of the Ram temple scheduled in Ayodhya. The decision aims to allow employees to participate in the celebrations surrounding this auspicious event, emphasizing the company's acknowledgment of the cultural significance of the occasion.
Additionally, the Central Government has announced a half-day closure for all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions, and Central Industrial Establishments on the same day, encouraging widespread participation in the historic Ayodhya Ram Temple ceremony. Meanwhile, on a financial note, Reliance Industries reported a 9.3% increase in net profit for the December quarter, attributed to robust performances in its retail and telecom sectors.
